MY original, signature, full-package West Coast experience
Join me for a full-day of hands-on exploring deep into the coast's most awesomely remote corners, culminating with a magical West coast sunset and homemade picnic dinner & wine under the stars.

So here's the plan:
Each trip is hand-crafted to unlock the unique possibilities of that day. The itinerary is open, flexible and adaptive. No two trips are ever the same.
Every journey, however, follows my basic recipe for adventure:​

1. Orientation: Meeting, introduction, maps, stories, sharing & transport. (~1.5 hrs)
2. Exploration: The action & adventure part. Hike across Portugal's wildest landscapes, tallest cliffs, and most amazing views, valleys, beaches, and more, going slow and taking plenty of breaks to soak it up along the way. (~5 hrs)
3. Final Relaxation: The culmination and reward for our efforts: Settle in for a magically slow sunset and nourishing picnic dinner under starry skies. (~1.5 hrs)
4. Return to Civilization: Part of any full journey... it is inevitable. (~45 min)
GET ORIENTED
We'll begin our journey by gaining an awareness of the land we will discover.

... to the Algarve's Costa Vicentina Natural Park, Western Europe's wildest coastline.
WALK, HIKE & MOVE
... across Portugal's tallest cliffs, most secret beaches, and dramatic viewpoints.
ESCAPE THE CROWDS
We go where no one else goes -- tourist or local -- to find landscapes all our own.
LEARN THE LAND
We'll uncover the land's rich natural & cultural histories up close.
SLOW DOWN
We go at a relaxed pace & take plenty of breaks to relax, play, explore, & soak it up.
GET DEEP INTO THE WILD
We'll leave all signs of civilization to immerse ourselves in the natural world.
WITNESS THE SUNSET
There's nothing like a West Coast sunset from our secluded cliff-top viewpoint.
JOURNEY TO "THE END..."

DINNER UNDER THE STARS
Enjoy a delicious, homemade picnic of locally-inspired tapas & wine.

Witness a world-class night sky, and learn the ancient art of celestial navigation.

Dinner is a delicious picnic of locally-inspired tapas & wine, highlighting the regions rich & diverse tradition of flavors. It's healthy, fresh, and friendly to almost all eaters, including veggie, vegan, & gluten-free: Meat, cheese, & bread are served on the side.
